Hi Legacy and all who help to R6 going!
I have been fighting this critical error for 3 days now.
I have:
Refresh Drivers in Windows and with AMD
Uninstalled R6 Gold and Steam and removed all eggs left behind
Took the file from a working PC had some luck then it crashed but couldnt duplicate it working again.

Running AMD 5950X with a 6950 VDO
Message:
"OS: Windows NT 6.2 (Build: 9200)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 3396 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT (1028)
General protection fault!

This quick fix restores the server list for Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield.
Works with Ubisoft, Steam or original Retail version.

REQUIRES OpenRVS 1.5 Multiplayer Patch first! Which you can get here in the original post.

If any questions just ask here or on https://discord.gg/tactical in #techsupport or #rainbowsix3 channel.

Just copy/merge the respective folder onto your game's folder to update.

This does not change any of your settings.

When i create a server the server launches and the game closes down so when i try to relaunch the game it states app already running.

Any ideas how to create server and join it ?

Welcome Mike, be sure you are choosing the right location where your game is installed on your computer.
The default patch installation location may not be the same as yours.
(Don't verify the files after you've installed the patch because it will delete the patch.)
