By "roots," I think they mean that they're just going back to a modern setting like in the Modern Warfare games. It's still sad that even when they packaged MW:R with the $80 special edition of the game, sales were still disappointing, at least, according to Activision.

they should go back even more, the very first CoD was Call of Duty for me, everything else was not, sry but i never liked anything after that one in the series  mad
