No 2.0 mod does not work online anymore.
But, we have better than 2.0 mod.

Hi there ive downloaded the mod and I put the wizard folder in the mods file of the game (Steam verson) and I extract the files and I boot up the game but it still doesn't work I don't know if I've done something wrong?

Does not go in mods folder. When you open installer click Browse then find your Rainbow Six 3 Gold folder and install there. Then just change connection speed to T3 in options. Go to Multiplayer click Internet and you will see the servers.

Hi first of all great work!!

I have installed the patch and changed Internet settings to T3.
I can see 4 allr6 servers but no one is online. Am I just trying to join at a bad time?
Also do you host a team survival server?

It varies in times since people from all over the world in different time zones. They usually fill up a few times a day but it seems to be almost random and sometimes they are full all day long. We dont but there are some up there that are! If you ever want to find people in real time stay updated with Discord http://r6chat.com you can tag @everyone in the general gaming chat to find people if you dont see anyone in game at the moment.

From page 1 of the thread this will work with CD version but make sure you patch to 1.6 first from retail patch. Then apply this 2.3 patch to your Raven Shield folder.

Thanks a lot guys for bringing one of the absolute best FPS games back to life ! I lost years of my life on RVS with various clans like WTE-STA-eXp- S)- ect I ran the patch as ive the steam version and it updated ok, I start the game and go multiplayer and I can see the serveres ect, but when I click to try join it just hangs ? music ect still going, I'm also not getting a ping from them ? I have a 120MBps connection in the uk here , any ideas ?

Sorry no BUT we have all of the IW maps and weapons and sounds etc on the ALLR6 servers in R63. And Athena Sword maps, Rogue Spear maps and original R6 maps too with all expansions. We ported them all in one. New maps every other week too!

Hi Guys, I've been a real big player of RavenShield and Athena Sword for years. I and my team would play with others from all over the world. It's great news to be able to play this classic game again. So in order for me and my team to get back on and play I just have to follow these steps:
1st Install the game
2nd Patch game to V1.60
3rd Install ALL-R63-ONLINEPATCH-V2.3-2017
4th Change connection speed to T3 and set other options to my desire
5th Kick some Tango Booty

Also what do I have to do to get my one dedicated server listed? I also have all the software needed to setup player stats and would like to get that up and running again.

Correct.

Though note that if you have the Steam or Uplay version of the game its already patched to 1.6.
Only original cd version needs to be patched to 1.6 and I suggest grabbing the NO CD patch as well from http://allr6.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?id=101

After its all installed I highly suggest this update to optimize the game to run on modern systems: http://allr6.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?id=91

Thanks Recognition, I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but when I ran the server from within the game itself I didn't have any connection problems. Not sure if you would be interested in doing this but maybe we could write up a simple step by step instruction sheet on how to set one up. I've tried to setup the stand-alone RavenShield server four times and could not get it to work so if you have a cheat sheet I could use I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I'm also working on setting up a special stats server and maybe other game server admins might want to link their game server stats to, with some requirements like Punkbuster must be running on the game server. This is just a thought because I still have to get the dedicated stand-alone server working and all the stats web server up and running properly first. Yea, I guess I got some work to do. Any help/advice/instructions are greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:
Not sure what I did wrong the first few times but I now have a stand-alone RavenShield server up and running properly. Thanks a lot Recognition for all your help.
