I'm hoping someone can help!

I've been trying to get the original R^ to run on my windows 10 laptop for a few months now. With DG vooddoo2 I've manged to get as far as a black and white menu and a bit of gameplay with missing textures so i know it's close.

I've tried from both GOG and Uplay but have the same issues with both.

Have tried compatibility mode and ran as admin but still nothing.

It ran once the first time I installed from gog but then it crashed again and didn't work since.

One of my all time favourite games (and books) and if anyone can help it would make me a very happy man!

p.s - I'm not really techy but can follow instructions well.
