Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield - Main Menu Fullscreen Fix (nVidia GPUs)

Problem

Hi all, Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is known to have a problem where the menu only renders in 640 * 480 and will not increase in resolution even if you change the resolution settings in the game. This makes the menu very small on the screen and doing things in the menu such as selecting team members and planning your mission (which is a large part of the game) difficult.

Solution

If you have a nVidia GPU you can open the nVidia Control Panel and change your Scaling Mode (under Display > Adjust desktop size and position) to either "Aspect ratio" or "Full-screen". These settings will force the menu to stretch to fill the screen. Aspect ratio will maintain the 4:3 aspect ratio of the menu whereas full-screen will stretch the image to fill your entire screen.

AMD GPUs

I'm not sure about AMD GPUs but there's probably an equivalent software that allows you to change your scaling mode.
