Could anyone please tell me how to play the Athena Sword campaing co-op? I already finished Raven Shield's campaign, but I can't choose the AS missions when creating a server. If I go to options, custom game and activate AS, when creating a server I see the new missions, but after clicking "launch" the game asks me for the RS CD-Key (which I don't have, because it's the Steam version).

Also, If you could tell me how to play Iron Wrath co-op too... (I already have it installed, I want Mission mode, not Terrorist Hunt or anything else)

One more thing, in order to make multiplayer work I had to patch the DLL file, because the game kept freezing every 5-10 seconds or so when playing. I googled it and found that it was trying to contact Ubisoft's servers... Shouldn't this patch be included in the installer?

Hi - Good old Rainbow Six player here, and I have R6 Raven shield CD, but I think I need to get the Steam copy

Could anyone put in steps what needs to be done to play r6 raven shield again. I have a window 10 - Intel

1) is Download the steam version .. then?

Our patch contains necessary SOUND FILES for AS, IW, Rogue Spear and custom maps within Rainbow Six 3.
The OpenRVS patch does not.

i cant join any allr6 server. it shows something with file checksum mismatches. im using version 1.6

have you installed any mods at some point? that the only thing I cant think of that causes mismatched files.

delete any mismatched files that come up. but if you did install some mods and a bunch of things got corrupted start clean.

have one copy of the game single player / modded.

use another with no mods installed for multiplayer (the mods on the servers download automatically so you can still use them)

How would one get both Athena Sword and Iron Wrath content (at the same time) when starting a server after installing the 2.4 online patch and Windows 10 performance fixes? We noticed that creating a server doesn't seem to include all the new maps/weapons/etc.

Hey, the AS and IW maps wont work in a normal Raven Shield server thats why we modded the maps and we have the AS IW server in RVS. But it took some doing. The weapons are not going to work. But we do have lots of custom weapons added! Sorry I cant provide more info than that but the basic is the maps had to be edited to remove specific AS and IW items not available in Raven Shield because it was causing people to crash with missing files or mismatched files.

Far as I know there is no fully complete Raven Shield online compatible map pack either for AS and IW to be played in RVS.

Our ALLR6 servers have various maps from AS and IW scattered throughout the list
and the AS+IW server is only those maps. Note we also run maps from Rogue Spear and original Rainbow Six as well as tons of customs and more coming soon

Havent played RvS since 2005 or so and loved what I found here.

I would like to know when is the best time to get online since I've only found one server with 3 people playing. All the other server that show on the list are empty.

Join the Discord its the best place to squad up in real time. http://www.discord.gg/tactical

Usually people play at all times of the day its very random! I see the servers full at least once a day. People are in all different time zones.
On the Discord you can tag @RainbowSix3 role as well to find more players when you are looking to play.
