For those who don't know what Ordnace Project is,

It adds a bunch of different guns to the game. If you guys were to take some weapons from this and merge them with the ALLR6 server weapons and attachments I think would really add a lot of diversity to the ALLR6 servers.

What are your thoughts? I think these would be really awesome additions with the new optics being usable with them.

1. There is a feature coded in the Ordnance Project weapons that makes them auto-lower when you get too close to a wall. This feature is pretty unpopular and would make people not in general want to use them.
2. Making the new optics work with the Ordnance Project weapons would be an unbelievably huge job and I'm not going to try lol.
I personally am a big fan of the OP weapons, but I don't think they'd be a success in multiplayer for these reasons.

I think it can be handled, if you have all the sources. If you don't, that's a problem.
As I guess, you mean that you need a pure code, with no enhanced functionality offered by Ordnance Project mod. Well, I know that there was something like that. Once while working on that project we were gathering some artwork packages. I've made some custom mods, they were used for initial internal testing of models and textures in game. There were pure weapons classes, compatible with vanilla R6, which I made for that purpose. These mods included the following weapons list:

These were compiled for and worked on 1.56 but might work if properly adapted with 1.60 also.
I don't remember where these files now, but they should be somewhere in team archive.
As for other weapons that are not on the list, there should be no problem to extract artwork data, but scripts probably have to be written from scratch. And of course all of them should be integrated with new environment.
