Raven Shield - Does it work properly under Windows 10?

Hi!
I am planning to gift a friend of mine Raven Shield via Steam. He has got Windows 10 as his operating system.
However some time ago I heard that Raven Shield and Windows 10 don't like each other. Well, at least as how far I can remember, with the CD version there were some problems with Windows 10 and a copy protection

So what I would like to know now is whether anybody has got Windows 10 and the Steam Raven Shield Version + the AllR6 v2.4 Patch and whether the game works fine for him or not (especially concerning multiplayer)?

I mean 5 bucks are nothing I would cry about but it would still be kind of a disappointment for me when we wouldn't be able to play together :-(.

I use the server patch supplied by RVSgaming and the Windows 10 flicker fix.

Everything works great.

Well the CD version sometimes has issues with Windows 10.
But the Steam or Uplay version and the version at https://justpaste.it/r63 (comes already patched and ready to play) work great!

Yeah, I can't speak on the CD version. My CD's are so scratched they wouldn't even be readable.

But the Steam version works great. Totally worth the re-purchase after all these years.

No issues playing this game (Steam version) on Windows 10 1709 at 3440 x 1440, 100 Hz/100 FPS, with hardware accelerated sound enabled via Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD.

Awesome. Then he just needs the ALLR6 2.4 patch and T3 connection speed set in the options and he can join us all on the servers online coop and adv! [ http://allr6.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?id=3 ]

As of 2020 the game is still running fine on Windows 10. Be it from Uplay, Steam or original CD version or the free version. There are a lot of fixes and tweaks in the RESOURCES section here but you should also join Discord guys and if any issues post in the #techsupport channel and they will help you http://www.R6chat.com
